Bangladesh Under Siege Armed Islamist Network Targets Awami League and Pro - Liberation Forces

Bangladesh now stands at the epicenter of a terrifying conspiracy by a coordinated terrorist and fundamentalist network. Groups like Jamaat-e-Islami, Hizb ut-Tahrir, NCP, JMB, and Lashkar-e-Taiba—both domestic and international—have reactivated their operations. Joining hands with them are convicted former BDR personnel, trained extremists, and a faction of rogue ex-military officers. Under the direct influence of foreign intelligence agencies, they have established armed camps and stockpiled weaponry with one primary objective: to eliminate the Awami League and all pro-Liberation, patriotic citizens.

Secret “hit lists” are being prepared across districts and sub-districts. Awami League leaders, activists, Chhatra League and Jubo League organizers, public representatives, and even family members of freedom fighters have become targets. These groups are conducting covert surveillance, gathering intelligence, and preparing for a string of assassinations—evading national security forces. Alarming reports confirm that even inside prisons, plots are underway to murder pro-Awami inmates.

Northern Bangladesh now faces the specter of a bloody déjà vu—a return to the dark days of Bangla Bhai. New factions like Neo-JMB, the Purba Bangla Naxal Group, and so-called Revolutionary Communist outfits are uniting under a common banner. While preaching ideology, religion, or revolution, their real intent is political assassination and nationwide chaos.

The current interim Yunus-led government has come under fire for allegedly backing these plots. Reportedly acting on advice from foreign interest groups, this regime has lost control. Evidence points to their tacit support of extremist, militant, and anti-state forces. With a political declaration expected in July, this wave of targeted killings is seen as a staged “prelude to power.”

The public is now gripped by fear and insecurity, placing its trust solely in the Bangladesh Army. Only the army, in this critical hour, can restore national stability and defend the country from the clutches of this extremist menace.

This is a time for national unity, vigilance, and active resistance. Citizens must remain alert and immediately report suspicious behavior to local authorities. The government must prioritize the complete dismantling of this extremist-militant network and ensure the prosecution of anti-state operatives being shield.
